BMW has reintroduced their 650 dual sport single-cylinder motorcycle for model year 2012, which previously was known as the BMW F650GS Dakar. Having its roots back in 1993 and the unique F 650 single-cylinder Funduro, the newly launched G650GS Sertao and G650GS symbolizes the next phase in the fruition of the GS lineup of BMW. Just as the initial model, the newly launched 2012 BMW G650GS Sertao is a tad more than the twin sport, and that’s because it is been aimed directly at the escalating escapade touring sector, and to be more precise the new riders in the adventure touring segment. BMW is hoping that the dual-cylinder F800GS has matched the requirement in past some years, but the increasing demand of a low-priced, even fewer-threatening ADV bike helped ease the comeback of one of our old favorites.
