The engine if the Tuono has been adapted from the superbike RSV4 superbike, which also brings the all new throttle-by-wire arrangement having APRC electronics package and 3 ride maps. In order to make the bike compatible for aggressive street use, the first 3 gear ratios of Tuono have been kept short and even the 82 lbs-ft of maximum torque is rated at 9,500 rpm. The Aprilia Tuono V4 R will be priced at $14,999, and will be having a brand new Brembo brakes, frame and Sachs suspension.
