Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager is an entry level motorcycle of Kawasaki which is composed of classic tourers and touring models. There are two classic models with modern technology and come with liquid cooled, four-stroke, four-valve per cylinder, 52 degree V-twin 1700CC SOHC engine which is good for producing 108 pound feet of torque at 2250rpm. The Voyager and Tourer models come with similar engine that generate maximum 500mm torque. Apart from weight, looks and dimensions, all models come with similar engine capacity. All motorcycles feed through digital fuel injection system with two 42mm throttle bodies.
All models of Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager are equipped with twin piston calipers with 300mm disc brakes on Nomad, Classic and Classic LT, while the heavier Voyager model comes with four piston calipers. In terms of braking performance, it is quite sophisticated as it features an Advanced Coactive Braking Technology with optional Antilock Braking System. It comes with standard list of equipments such as Transistor Controlled Breakerless Ignition, front Dual 300mm discs with dual twin-piston calipers and rear single 300mm disc with twin-piston caliper.
Kawasaki ZX12 comes with all those features seen on other motorcycles in the market such as Honda Hayabusa and Blackbird. It is roomy beefy sport tourer with its solidly built tempting engine. The handling of ZX12 is quite agile and nimble with unique monocoque frame which is quite stable and stiff at high speeds. It comes with impressive large dashboard with unique analogue speedometer which is quite annoying.
Kawasaki ZX12 is quite durable, but they lack polished finish like other Kawasaki 12R models. The engine is very strong and has the capability to handle high mileage. Overall it is a fashionable bike with loads of performance.
