Yamaha Motorcycles is a conglomerate based Multinational Corporation in Japan which is involved in manufacturing motorcycles, musical instruments and electronics and power sports equipments. The company was found in the year 1887 by Torakusu Yamaha as Nippon Gakki Company Limited in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka prefecture. After Second World War, Genichi Kawakami, president of Yamaha, repurposed the production of machineries and metallurgical technologies for manufacturing motorcycles. The first motorcycle manufactured by Yamaha was YA-1 which was powered by single cylinder 125CC two-stroke engine. In the year 1959, success of YA-1 resulted in founding new firm called Yamaha Motor Company Limited.

In 1955, Genichi Kawakami, President of Yamaha took company in the field of motorized vehicles. Yamaha has wide knowledge of manufacturing reliable, sturdy and lightweight metal constructions. This knowledge was also applied for making motor parts and metal frames for bikes. It is involved in manufacturing all-terrain vehicles, outboard motors, personal watercrafts, motorcycles, snowmobiles and boats. Yamaha has been in the market for a very long time and has gained good reputation especially in motorcycle racing. The company had great success with their riders such as Bob Hannah, James Stewart, Giacomo Agostini, Eddie Lawson, Stefan Merriman, Ben Spies, Kenny Roberts, Wayne Rainey, Chad Reed, Jorge Lorenzo, Jeremy McGrath and Heikki Mikkola. The company is known for manufacturing two and four stroke bikes, off-road and in-road motorcycles. The successful model was Yamaha XS 650 which was debuted in the year 1970 and the first production motorcycle by Yamaha was RX-S 100 that featured an inline four-cylinder engine with cross-plane crankshaft orientation technology.

Yamaha FZ600S is powered by liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder; DOHC, 16 valves engine which is good for producing 63 pound feet of torque at 10,000 rpm and 98 horsepower at 12,000 rpm. It is known to be the best performer as compared to other models in the market. The FZ600S is quite comfortable, versatile and light and overall produces more horsepower than other FZ models. The fuel injected engine is mated with six-speed gearbox via multi-plate clutch. It comes with 17 inch alloy wheels with 245mm discs at the rear and 298mm discs at the front.
Yamaha FZ600S was manufactured and designed for European market which was initially known as Fazer. The old model was a great combination of light handling, fuel economy, performance and comfort. The 600CC engine was built for Thunder Cat super-sport model called YZF600R which was the best selling motorcycle in Yamaha’s lineup. This new model comes with liquid cooled engine with fuel injection system that generates 46 pound feet of torque and 98 horsepower. It has an aggressive look with its rear swingarm, wheels, black painted engine, grabhandle, frame and subframe. It is upgraded with features and equipments like new passenger footpegs, Monobloc four-piston brake calipers, three-way catalytic converter and new swingarm.
